The Farm

Our apartment had a hose but no connector or nozzle.  But a little ingenuity goes a long way - making a nozzle so I can water my babies.

Farm work is dirty - my summer internship as told by my jeans:

Field work (brown), tractor work (black), construction and painting (orange/white), plumping (purple/blue), 3 months working outside (soaked pant legs).

Half way through the summer, one of our farmers stumbled upon 150+ tomato plants being given away - I had some extra time one weekend so I transplanted any that could be saved and trellised them in the greenhouse.

A month later, we’ve got cherries and romas selling strong at the stand :)

Hand transplanting a field of  brassicas, one plant at a time.

Our new pump house, twice as effecient as the old system - Joe now knows plumbing.
